INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 October 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the IFTCC Conference website, online conference platform, livestreams, recordings, translation services, registration services, and related digital services.

By registering for, accessing, or using the IFTCC Conference Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Conference Services

The IFTCC Conference Platform may provide services including:

  • conference registration;

  • online and onsite attendance management;

  • access to conference schedules and session information;

  • livestreaming of conference sessions;

  • session recordings and replays;

  • live translation and captioning;

  • conference Q&A features;

  • downloadable conference materials; and

  • other services related to the operation of the conference.

Features and availability may vary between conference years, attendance types, sessions, and locations.

2. Registration and Accounts

Certain conference services require registration or a user account.

You are responsible for providing accurate information during registration and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Accounts, tickets, online access rights, and conference entitlements are intended for the registered attendee unless expressly stated otherwise.

You must not share login credentials or otherwise provide unauthorised access to paid or restricted conference content.

IFTCC may suspend or revoke access where there is evidence of account sharing, unauthorised access, fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

3. Online Conference Access

Online conference access is provided only to attendees who have the appropriate registration or entitlement for the relevant conference year.

Livestream and replay availability may differ between sessions.

Access to online conference content may depend on internet connectivity, browser compatibility, device capability, third-party platforms, and other technical factors outside IFTCC's direct control.

4. Livestreams and Recordings

Conference sessions may be livestreamed and recorded.

Recordings may subsequently be made available as conference replays through the IFTCC Conference Platform or third-party media services.

IFTCC may edit, replace, remove, restrict, or withdraw conference recordings where necessary for technical, legal, privacy, licensing, or administrative reasons.

Unauthorised recording, redistribution, rebroadcasting, downloading, copying, or commercial use of conference livestreams or recordings is prohibited unless permission has been granted.

5. Translation and Captioning

IFTCC may provide automated translation, transcription, captions, or related language services through third-party providers such as Wordly.

Automated translation and transcription may contain errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies.

Translated or transcribed content should therefore be treated as an accessibility and convenience service rather than an authoritative replacement for the original speaker's words.

6. Conference Q&A and Interactive Features

Where the Conference Platform provides Q&A, comments, messaging, polls, or other interactive features, users must communicate respectfully and must not submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, fraudulent, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate content.

IFTCC may moderate, hide, remove, reorder, or decline to display submitted content.

Use of interactive features may be restricted or removed where misuse occurs.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, conference content, website materials, recordings, presentations, graphics, branding, software, and other materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights.

Access to conference material does not transfer ownership of that material to attendees.

Conference materials may be used for personal and authorised educational purposes only unless additional permission has been provided by the relevant rights holder.

Speakers and presenters may retain intellectual-property rights in their own presentations and materials.

8. Third-Party Services

The Conference Platform may integrate with third-party services including Zoom, YouTube, Google, Wordly, payment processors, email services, hosting providers, and media platforms.

Use of those services may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and privacy policies.

IFTCC is not responsible for interruptions, outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or other failures originating solely from third-party services outside IFTCC's reasonable control.

9. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Conference fees, payment requirements, cancellation conditions, and refund eligibility are governed by the applicable registration and refund terms presented during registration or payment.

Any applicable taxes, currency conversions, regional pricing conditions, or payment-provider charges may also apply.

Where a separate cancellation or refund policy is published for a particular conference year, that policy forms part of these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Conference Platform or another user's account;

  • interfere with livestreams, servers, networks, security systems, or conference operations;

  • circumvent access restrictions or payment requirements;

  • scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit restricted conference content without permission;

  • upload malicious software or harmful material;

  • impersonate another person; or

  • use the platform for unlawful purposes.

IFTCC may restrict or terminate access where these conditions are violated.

11. Availability and Technical Changes

IFTCC will make reasonable efforts to provide reliable conference services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Features may be modified, replaced, temporarily unavailable, or discontinued where required for technical, operational, security, legal, or conference-management reasons.

During live events, IFTCC may change streaming providers, playback sources, technical routing, or other infrastructure where necessary to maintain service.

12. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IFTCC is not responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including internet outages, device failures, third-party service interruptions, or other external technical failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Privacy

Use of the Conference Platform is also governed by the IFTCC Conference Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information and data associated with conference services, including Google and YouTube integrations, may be processed.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated where conference services, legal requirements, technical systems, or operational practices change.

The current version will be published on this page together with its most recent update date.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms or the IFTCC Conference Platform may be directed to IFTCC through the contact information provided on the conference website.
