The Impact of A.I. on Human Connection and Sexuality

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how people experience intimacy, sexuality, attachment, and relationships. This workshop will examine the worldwide growth of AI companionship, AI pornography, sexualized avatars, and deepfake imagery, including their potential effects on consent, objectification, compulsive sexual behavior, loneliness, sexual development, relational expectations, and authentic human connection. Participants will consider these emerging challenges from clinical, pastoral, and Christian perspectives, with practical guidance for counselors, pastors, parents, and educators.
