Safeguarding Policy
IFTCC is committed to promoting a safe environment for everyone involved in its activities and events, with particular attention to the protection of children, young people and adults who may be at risk of harm.
Our Safeguarding Policy sets out the principles, responsibilities and procedures used to help prevent abuse, harm and neglect, and explains how safeguarding concerns should be reported and managed.
If you believe that someone is at immediate risk of harm, contact the police or relevant emergency services in the country or region where that person is located.
For non-emergency safeguarding concerns, questions or observations relating to the protection of people or the implementation of these arrangements, please refer to the contact information contained in the full policy below.
Designated Safeguarding Lead: Simon Wyatt (UK)
Email: Simon.Wyatt@core-issues.org
Safeguarding concerns may be reported directly to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively and confidentially, subject to any disclosures necessary to protect individuals or comply with legal obligations.
